Rovas gives volunteers and open-source contributors transparent tools to record work, earn merits, and access support in projects with funds.
What the platform offers
- Work reports — verified hours are recorded as chrons (10 CHR per hour) and can be exchanged for merits.
- Report verification — work reported in work reports is verified by verifiers — users selected by Rovas.
- Chron surrender — if a Rovas project offers premium services or content, the user can obtain them in exchange for their chrons; the chrons are converted into merits awarded to the project owner.
- Reward sharing — a project can distribute merits among collaborators according to its own rules.
- API for developers — Rovas has an API that volunteer-facing apps can use for tasks such as automatic creation of projects and work reports, reporting, and more.
