We reward people for economic value donated to society

We are a public-benefit organization that measures and recognizes contribution to the commons through the Rovas platform and the Civic app.

NeoFund is a Slovak public-benefit organization that builds tools to measure, grow, and publicly recognize contribution to the commons. Its main tool is Rovas — an open platform that records and rewards prosocial work, monetary donations, and tax discipline on a single, comparable scale.

Traditional markets reward paid labor on tradable goods and services well; they reward unpaid community work, volunteering, donations, and tax discipline poorly or not at all. NeoFund builds the missing infrastructure: a credible, transparent measure of such effort, and mechanisms that channel support to people who truly maintain the commons.

Two intertwined goals

  1. Establish and promote Merit as the measure of prosocial contribution — so that growing one’s Merit becomes a goal people actively seek, like a degree, certificate, or reputation.
  2. Grow donation inflows and direct them more effectively — toward individuals and organizations whose contribution to the commons is largest relative to the support they receive.

Three paths, one score

The Civic app offers three ways of contributing that converge on a single Merit (ME) score:

  • paying taxes (eKasa),
  • donating to public-benefit projects,
  • volunteer work verified on Rovas.
